I am very glad I attended the Brewhouse Happy Hour Thursday evening. It has been a while since I have been in here and it was exactly as I had remembered. I walked in the front door looking for some friends that I was scheduled to meet and found the bar area packed. This place draws people in on a regular basis and this particular Thursday night was great. Love the great friendly crowd and of course knowing some of the patrons helps. No sign of my friends at the front bar. Off to the outside but enclosed back bar to continue my search.

I finally arrived at the back bar and guess what happened? Something that I have found to be rare in the bartending department. I was standing behind my by you even though you have your credit card up in the air’ treatment. The Brewhouse happy hour was off to a rousing start. I ordered a pint of Magic Hat #9 at half price mind you. My only mistake was I forgot they offered a 22 oz draft at half price as well. As I chatted with friends drinking my beer another astonishing
thing happened. As soon as I finished my beer the lovely Brook was there again to fill it up. No flagging her down, no going without a beverage, no being ignored. I was so happy about the service I even offered to by my friends a happy hour round. Of course I only offered to buy them a round once they had already ordered a new one. That way I really didn’t have to buy them one but looked like a champion by offering. The eventually caught on to me and I had to buy them one but I waited until 5 of 7 to do that. Hey, that is why I do happy hour, I am…..frugal.
Even with my several awesomely served and priced Brewhouse happy hour beers and a round for my friends the bill was only 18 bucks. Guess what, Brook got a $6.00 tip from me. I am sure she did well with her other customers too. When you stop by the Brewhouse happy hour look for the lovely Brook. She was at the outside bar this evening. A word of caution about the outside bar. It is the smoking bar. Non smoking drinkers are inside. The outside bar is opened up and is a nice deck in summer. Come on summer!
